At Rozelle Presbyterian Church, we love kids and believe that they are an important part of our church.

We have a great kids program called 'Kids for Christ' that opens the Bible for kids, so that they might know how big God is and how wide God’s love for them is in Jesus. We’d love your kids to join us one Sunday soon.

What to expect

Kids for Christ runs parallel to the Sunday service during school terms. Kids join in the service at the beginning, and can be signed in by a parent or carer after the kid’s spot (the service leader will provide directions).

A typical Sunday includes games, songs, craft, and a Bible story. Parents and carers should collect and sign out children after the service. If you are new to church, please feel welcome to keep your kids with you in the service or to join them. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to speak with one of our friendly kid’s leaders or email our Kids Team Leader Jenni Smith prior to your visit.

Child safety

We believe that in the same way ‘it takes a village to raise a child’, it’s the responsibility of all of us to grow kids in their love for Jesus. In particular, we have some fantastic kid’s leaders who seek to implement a caring, fun, creative and safe environment for all children. All our leaders have a current Working with Children Check and regularly complete Breaking the Silence training. They are also required to adhere to the Code of Conduct.

Bringing a baby or toddler to church?

Join in the service from our special area for 0-2 year olds. There are seats reserved in the back for you and your baby with a play mat, toys, books and plenty of space to crawl around.

Do you give permission for your child's image to be taken and used internally (accessible to the church community only) and externally (available to the public) on the website, social media platforms (e.g. Facebook, Instagram).

I understand that kids leaders may share with other leaders how the children are progressing (such as how they are settling, their preferences) as a safe ministry measure, in order to best care for them and facilitate hand over week by week.
